Busan Museum of Modern Art is a public art museum established by Busan Metropolitan City.
Located on Eulsukdo at the mouth of the Nakdong River, the Busan Museum of Modern Art is a building with a total floor area of ​​15,312 m2 on a 29,900 m² site and completed in 2017. It consists of an exhibition space (5,780㎡) on the first basement floor, the first and second floors, a storage room, a seminar and experience room, a children's reading space, an archive room, a curatorial room, and an office.

Opened in June 2018, the Busan Museum of Contemporary Art is a public 'modern' art museum focusing on contemporary art.
Based on research on today's art trends and social contexts, it will perform its role as an art museum, including exhibitions that present new discourses, future-oriented art education programs, cooperation with international networks, contemporary art collections, and academic events.

With nature, new media, human as its main agenda, the Busan Museum of Modern Art is planning various activities that connect the region with the arts and the world with the future. In particular, we intend to present a field of art/experiment for the coexistence of nature, art, and people in a mutually positive relationship amid changes in society including today's environment and science and technology.
