I have a friend and his child has a multi-nationality with a foreign country and Korea. Since the main location of residence is overseas, he is using a foreign passport. Due to the inconvenience of Visa issuance for every entry to Korea, he is willing to apply for Multiple Visa. What is the application procedure like and what are the required documents?

Those who fall under the category below can be an exception and thus issued with a visa.
1) Those with nationality of a country which the Republic of Korea requires the presence of visa for entry, and for unavoidable reasons such that he/she can’t present a Korean passport for entry, can be issued a short-term multiple visa (C-3, 90days of stay, valid for 1 year).
2) Those with multi-nationality who are 22 years of age or older without birth registration before the proclamation date of the revision law of the Nationality Act (May 4, 2010), and for inevitable reasons such that he/she can’t present a Korean passport for entry, can be issued the appropriate visa for the purpose of stay.
